Things have been crazy around here! I'm finally on spring break. It's sort of bittersweet. It means I only have 8 more days in the classroom with my second graders, but it also means I'm THAT much closer to Kenya! Graduation is right around the corner. AHH! It feels like everything is coming up all at once! Just a few more big projects and I'll be finished with my senior year at UNC. ...shouldn't I still be a freshman or something??
I officially have a housemate in Kenya! She's already there, teaching her first year at WNS. She's offcially started the process of finding us a place to live.. We're hoping for a house, but there's basically NOTHING available in Karen. Bummer...
She's really nice though, and I think we'll get along great! We skyped yesterday afternoon, did the whole ask-a-million-bizarre-questions meet-and-greet deal. She'll be at PFO, so I'll get to meet her before we have to live together. That's always good. :)
